- Kurt Kaiser passed away on Monday. He wrote 300 songs, including “Pass it On” and “Oh, How He Loves You and Me.” He also helped launch Word Music, a long-running powerhouse in the Christian Music industry.
- Darlene Zschech released a memoir, The Golden Thread, recounting her 2013 battle with cancer. Zschech wrote the popular ’90s worship song “Shout to the Lord.”
- The documentary Russ Taff: I Still Believe played in over 700 movie theaters in a limited October 30 release. It recounts the career of Russ Taff and his battle with alcoholism. Taff is a solo artist and former member of The Imperials and the Gaither Vocal Band.
